Giorgio Armani seems to have been greatly inspired by the East and it shows really well in the most subtle ways possible, and did really well in their homage to Japan.
Its also a yay for the Obi belts, which I really love and I'm glad to see has been pushed back into the season, so hopefully we see them a lot more!
Colors start very basic and safe, very classic Armani, throw in a few splashes of small color and prints in a few skirts, trousers and some belts too.. And dont forget the ivory with the subtle and the not so subtle Chinese type prints in cute colors like pink and lavender or in orange and green.
Trying not the ignore the Monarch butterfly? type cape or the cute little headgears or even the clutches, which I really have to get a closer look at!
I'm kinda glad he stuck to straight sleek silhouettes, but played around with fabrics like velvet, sequins, textured leather, chiffons, etc!
Also I love the additions of orange in the end that makes the entire show pop! I guess Mr.Armani wanted to match it to his skin tone! Hehe, sorry just kidding! I love you Giorgio!!
Maybe some more updates later! Do check back
